Health Ministries

The basic emphasis of Health Ministries is disease prevention, health restoration, and health maintenance.  The principles of this ministry are derived from the Bible and they address the wholeness of man -- the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.

Health Ministries is not only about assisting our members with living healthier, happier lives; it is also about reaching out to the surrounding community with the good news of NEW START.  This acronym is used to share our message in eight easy-to-understand steps:  proper nutrition, a balanced exercise program, the importance of water, a healthy exposure to sunlight, temperance in all that is good for health and abstinence from harmful substances, the benefits of fresh air and proper rest, and most importantly, trust in Divine power.

From demonstrating healthy principles in cooking classes to offering seminars on smoking cessation and stress free living we want to provide lots of ways for people to lead healthy and happy lives.
